JULIA MOK
A dance alumnus of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts,
Julia won two scholarships, namely, the Hong Kong Jockey Club
Music and Dance Fund and Sir Robert Black Trust Fund, to further
her studies in contemporary dance in the Netherlands. She came
back in 1996 to pursue a career in dance, theatre and music
performance. Two frequent collaborators were stage director Chan
Chu-hei and composer, Kung chi-shing. Julia is also a teacher of
dance and music and an accompanist. She is Theatre Horizon’s
Resident Choreographer and Executive Manager. Since 2012, she
has been Vice Chairman of Hong Kong People’s Fringe Association,
coordinating the annual Hong Kong People’s Fringe Festival (www.pplsfringe.com
